Renault Duster Oroch Concept

Renault have unveiled the Duster Oroch Concept at the ongoing 2014 Sao Paulo Motor Show. The concept was designed by Renault’s design centre for Latin America (RDAL) in Sao Paulo, and previews a “recreational pickup truck with enough room for five people and the robust stance of a true SUV.”

The Oroch has been designed at the Renault design center for Latin America (RDAL) in Sao Paulo. The Duster gets a major visual makeover with new, flush-fitting door handles, panoramic glass roof, orange accents, new headlamp/tail-lamp cluster, new bumpers, 18-inch wheels with 255/60 tires and broad side protective moldings. More importantly, being a double crew cab pick-up, the Oroch is visibly longer than the Duster, with a completely new rear end. The interiors are also comprehensively updated with new materials and contemporary components.

Earlier this month, a Dacia Duster Pick-Up has been launched by the Romanian based, Reault owned budget brand. Built to order by OMV Petrom, which is the largest oil company in South-Eastern Europe, a total of 500 units are to be created, all of which will cater to the demands of the aforementioned oil company which requested an off-road vehicle with a bed, required to reach remote locations.
