BMW 1 Series M Performance Limited Edition Hatchback Up for Sale in India

BMW has launched a few vehicles in India and it the next in the fleet of the cars is the entry-level 1 Series limited edition hatchback car. There will be only 111 units available for the sale and the car is already out at the dealership stores for the same. However, there is no change in the mechanical department of the car, but a few tweaks are there to make it look a little bit different from the original version.

This limited edition is based on the top of the class diesel engine with 2.0 Litre 4-cylinder twin power turbo engine which can develop 143 bhp power @ 4000 rpm and 320 Nm torque @ 1750-2500 rpm. The acceleration of the car takes it from 0-100 km/h in moderate 8.5 seconds and mileage it offers according to the ARAI standards is around 21 km/l. On the cosmetic front, the car has sportier front and rear bumper, side skirts, distinguished alloy wheels and the body strips as well to provide a complete new look to the car.

The car will be the new limited edition entry after the Mercedes-Benz has launched the A Class and B Class Limited Edition cars last month. The price of this new limited edition BMW 1 Series M performance car is up by at least INR 2.5 Lac from what the current price is and it'll have the direct head-on competition with the Mercedes-Benz A class.

2015 Harley-Davidson 883 Roadster

Harley-Davidson has come up with a Roadster version of the 883 Sportster, which boasts styling refinements and technological advances.

The peanut-shaped tanks shows off the badge of the brand, thus making itself the center of attraction, while the checkered flag gives the old-school racing feel to the attire.
The beast is powered by a 883cc air-cooled Evolution v-twin engine, capable of churning out 70Nm (52 lb-ft) of torque at 3,750 revs, and is mated to a 5-speed transmission. The mill is painted in matte black and compliments the matching rocker covers and cylinders. The chrome details provide a classic look.
An oval-shaped air intake makes the Harley-Davidson 883 Roadster look completely different from other bikes.

2015 Ford S-Max detailed ahead of Paris Motor Show

The 2015 Ford S-Max has been detailed ahead of its debut at this year’s Paris Motor Show and the all-new vehicle comes packed with fuel efficient engine, technology, comfort and new features.

“The sleek and sporty S-Max profile stands out from the crowd to deliver a unique proposition for customers who appreciate an exclusive appearance – whether for their car, their clothes, and even their home,” explains Joel Piaskowski, director of design at Ford of Europe.
“A lower roofline, slim-line lights and muscular haunches around the wheel arches ensure the all-new S-Max appears wider, sharper, and has an even more distinctive presence than ever.”

Ford has introduced new practical and comfort features including power-folding seats on the second and third row, a hands-free tailgate, electrically adjusted steering wheel and heated and cooled seats.

On the safety and technology front, the S-MAX gets a new active parking system, lane-keeping assist, blind spot monitoring and automatic braking.
The Blue Oval has yet to release full details, but Autoexpress reported that the engine range will include Ford's new 158hp 1.5-liter and 237hp 2.0-liter EcoBoost petrols, together with a 2.0-liter TDCi available in 118hp, 148hp and 177hp flavors. For the first time, the S-MAX will be available with all-wheel drive as well.
