BMW has introduced the 5 Series model update in the Indian market. The 5 Series is one of the most successful models from the German car maker in the Indian market and is locally produced at the Chennai plant. The car is one of the important models and accounts for more than over one third of local production in India. The sedan was launched in Gurgoan and is available across all dealerships.
The sixth generation of the BMW 5 Series comes with three distinct lines: the Luxury Line, the Modern Line and the M Sport introduced for the first time on this model. BMW had introduced similar variant nomenclature on the 3 Series.
The 5 Series comes with diesel engine options: 520d, 525d and 530d. The 520d is available in two trims: Modern and Luxury while the 525d comes with Luxury Plus trim and the 530d with M Sport trim.
The new 5 Series is currently available in diesel variants only and the company may announce the petrol variants in future. (Prices are ex-showroom Delhi)

The new 5 Series engines (530d, 525d and 520d) are equipped with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology and impress with their refined power and highest efficiency. The engines are mated to a 8 speed auto gear box which offer the excellent acceleration and impressive performance.
