Renault Fluence facelift launced in India


Renault launched the facelift of its Fluence sedan in India. The Fluence facelift was showed earlier at the Auto Expo 2014 bearing some cosmetic changes.

As said, the Fluence facelift has some exterior cosmetic changes in the form of new grill, redesigned front and rear bumpers, a large Renault logo on the grill and new headlamps with integrated fog lamps. It also gets a new design 16 inch alloy wheels. The new Fluence retains things that power the car.

        In the interior there is a new audio system, a soft touch dashboard, dual zone climate control, a digital instrument cluster and an electronic parking brake. Features like smart key with start-stop button, cruise control, parking sensors, four airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), EBD, ESP, rain sensing wipers, dusk sensing headlamps, rear sun blinds and rear air-con vents finds place in the new Fluence. 


        Renault Fluence facelift is available in two trims – E2 an E4 and is priced at Rs. 13.99 lakh and Rs. 15.49 lakh, respectively (Prices ex-showroom, New Delhi). It is powered by Renault’s 1.5L K9K diesel engine with power output of 110 Ps at 4000 rpm and torque of 240 Nm at 1850 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6 speed manual transmission.

Tata Nexon Concept 2014


According to Ranjit Yadav, stand-in president of Tata Motors’ passenger vehicles business unit, the Nexon will go on production in the next 24 months. Hence we can expect the production version of the car to hit the Indian streets by early 2016.

NEXON Engine:

Nexon is powered by 3-cylinder 1.2L Smart-Boosted petrol engine capable of churning out 110PS of power and impressive 170Nm of torque, and yet, it is capable of returning 17.6kmpl of fuel efficiency and a top whack of 180kmph! Though Tata has not specifically mentioned, but we assume this is the next step in the same 1.2L REVOTRON petrol engine which they have unveiled and the one which will find place in the Zest and Bolt.

Tata has kept on display a new Safari Storme Ladakh Concept at the Auto Expo-2014 which is probably the most stunning car of the stall. It is aimed at off-road adventure seekers who wish to tackle any terrain with real ease.

Tata Venture Adventure Concept



Tata Motors has showcased the ADDVenture concept, which is based on the Venture van. The ADDVenture basically comes with entertainment, comfort and convenience features that the company is showcasing as an active van for fun and leisure on-the-go. In terms of exterior styling, the Tata ADDVenture gets matte grey and lime yellow colour theme with redesigned lights, grille, bumpers, wheels and tail gate that gives the concept a funky appearance.





Things get exciting on the interiors of the Tata ADDVenture concept. Apart from the front driver and passenger seats, the cabin gets four seats facing each other with a host of gadgets and convenience features. There is a table in the centre, integrated hot drinks machine, compact fridge, etc. The upholstery is white and bright yellow that reveals oodles of luxury. The dashboard up front gets a touch screen tablet in the centre and the steering wheel is derived from the Zest and Bolt.





It’s the regular Tata Venture under the skin, so in terms of mechanicals the ADDVenture gets powered by the same engine. It is a 1.4-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces a peak power of 70 BHP with a peak torque of 135 Nm, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Tata ADDVenture showcases the flexible abilities of a van that can be transformed drastically from a basic utility vehicle to a luxurious and funky lounge on wheels with advanced tech.
