Toyota Etios Liva Facelift 2014

The Etios Liva facelift has been spotted and like the Etios sedan the hatchback also receives minor updates. Unlike the Etios sedan, the Etios Liva facelift will not get chrome front grille, but gets a silver finish (dual tone) ORVMs with side indicators. The Etios Liva does look a lot sportier with the chrome minus grille. On the rear the chrome garnish remains and sums ups the new exteriors.

The Liva will also receive the new interior scheme with dual tone dashboard and new fabric upholstery and a new 2 DIN audio system.  The Liva will not get inside chrome door handles. Driver side airbag from base variant, electric adjustment of ORVM and new leather wrapped steering.

The Etios Liva facelift will continue to be offered with the 1.2 litre petrol engine, 1.4 D-4D diesel engine and the 1.5 litre petrol engine in the TRD variant.
The Etios Liva facelift will have to battle a number of hatchbacks like the new Gen Hyundai Elite i20, Volkswagen Polo facelift, FIAT Punto facelift and updated Maruti Suzuki Swift.

Spied Toyota Etios sedan shows new bold looking front grille, that is finished in chrome. Rest of physical characterises on front fascia including headlamps, fog lamps, bumper, air dam and the like appear to be similar to those in outgoing model. Side profile, rear facade and alloy wheels also seem to have taken the same shape and features as current model’s. Interiors of Etios in spy shots appear to sport new colour scheme for dashboard and steering wheel, in combination of new shade of beige and brown. There seems to be no change in detailing inside the cabin, except change in upholstery and fabric door trims.

Equipment-wise, electrically adjustable Outside Rear View Mirrors (ORVM), reverse / parking sensors and and driver side Airbag are said to be standard across all variants of refreshed Etios sedan and Liva hatchback. Engine options of revamped Toyota Etios and Liva will remain the same. It unlikely that Toyota Etios Cross will receive said update, given that it is a new product launched in May 2014.
