2014 Suzuki Gixxer

Suzuki Gixxer’s engine and chassis have been developed by the engineers who designed the GSX-R series of motorcycles. The Gixxer is Suzuki’s new flagship 155 cc motorcycle which is positioned as a sporty motorcycle in the segment. The bike is built on a light and stiff frame. Suzuki has developed an all new engine for this bike utilizing SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology. Suzuki ‘Gixxer’ motorcycle is a combination of style and performance.


 
The bike is powered by a 155 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, SOHC engine. Suzuki engineers have developed an all new engine for this bike with cutting edge SEP(Suzuki Eco Performance) technology, which gives the bike an exceptional running performance with a broad low-end torque and dynamic mid-range power for stronger acceleration. The fuel tank capacity of the bike is 15 litres with a reserve capacity of 3.1 litres.

Suzuki has equipped this bike with telescopic suspension at the front and a monoshock suspension at the rear. On the braking front the Gixxer boast a single disc at the front and drum brake at the rear. The tyres are quite wide with the front unit being a 100/80/17 section and the rear being a 140/60/17. The bike gets a fully digital instrument cluster. The Suzuki Gixxer is built on a light and stiff frame due to which the bike offers sporty handling and comfortable ride.
