Meet Porter, the pound dog from Auckland, New Zealand. This intelligent animal received extensive training and some sort of preparation to drive a Mini on a racing track. Yes, really!
On his own, he started the car, drove it forward, and even turned it by operating the steering wheel, automatic gearbox shifter, throttle and brake – ofcourse under his trainer’s supervision.
The SPCA of Auckland wanted to prove that the rescued dogs are not second-rate, are smart and deserve to be adopted and hence they chose three dogs – Ginny, Monty and Porter, who was smartest amongst them and was a quick learner. Good job Porter!
Well, a dog driving a car is not something to be taken casually. The dog driving is a must watch for all of us to witness a real dog driving a real car, really! Check out the videos below!
