2015 New Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire Facelift

The 2015 Maruti DZire gets a revised front fascia with chrome accents, while the interiors get start-stop system from the recently launched Swift facelift. The engines are expected to be retuned as well. The 2015 Maruti Swift DZire facelift has been caught completely undisguised revealing the exterior and interior changes on the compact sedan. The DZire facelift is expected to follow soon in the coming weeks. Starting with the exteriors, the 2015 Maruti DZire gets a reworked front fascia. Most prominent changes include the new all chrome grille that replaces the twin-slat unit and the tweaked headlight cluster that gives a complete new look. The bumper on the other hand has been revised with wider air intakes, while the fog lamp cluster sports chrome accents for a premium feel.

Moving to the sides, not much has changed except for the new 10-spoke alloy wheels wrapped around 15-inch tyres. The rear is expected to get no changes as such. On the inside, the 2015 Maruti DZire facelift will get updated features carried over from the new Swift. The start-stop button was spotted on the model spied and the car will come loaded with keyless entry (i key), automatic climate control, Bluetooth connectivity with steering mounted controls, 60:40 split seats, height adjustable driver’s seat and a new MID screen for the instrument cluster. Top-variants will also get electrically adjustable ORVMs, reverse parking sensors, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and BAS system as part of standard kit.
Much like the new Swift, we expect the 2015 DZire to also sport the retuned petrol and diesel engines. The 1.2-litre K-Series 4-cylinder petrol engine will produce 83 PS of power (older DZire 87 PS), while torque increases by 1 Nm to 115 Nm compared to the older model. The 1.3-litre DDiS diesel motor continues to retain the same specifications producing 75 PS of power and 190 Nm of torque, but has been tweaked to offer improved fuel efficiency. As a result the petrol version now returns an ARAI certified 20.4 km/l, while the diesel will return 25.2 km/l. Both the engines are paired to a 5-speed manual as standard, while the 4-speed automatic is available only on the petrol version.
While details are still scarce on the pricing, we expect to see a marginal increase in the numbers escalating from Rs. 10,000/- for the lower variants, going up to Rs. 30,000/- for the top-end ZXi/ZDi trims. Much like the new Swift facelift, the 2015 Maruti DZire could also come with the LXi (O) trim added to the list. Prices for the current DZire commence at Rs. 4.85 lakhs going up to Rs. 7.32 lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
