Skoda Auto has revealed pictures of the 2013 Skoda Rapid Sport, a new performance-oriented concept, which could go on into production as the RS variant of the current Skoda Rapid. The Rapid Sport variant gets a ton of visual upgrades on the exterior transforming it from an average sedan to a performance oriented sports sedan. Performance is expected to be boosted as well but exact figures are yet to be revealed by Skoda.
Exterior changes which make the Skoda Rapid Sport stand out from the standard model include a two-tone red and silver paint scheme, massive 19-inch alloy wheels and an aggressive full body kit featuring new spoilers, bumpers and side sills, as well as dual exhaust pipes at the back. Although we are yet to receive details regarding the interiors of the Rapid Sport, what we do know for sure is that the model gets a sporty steering wheel and racing styled seats on the inside.
Words from Skoda, “The sporty layout continues in the interior of the car, for example with a sport-type steering wheel, Recaro seats and illuminated door sills..”
