Motors has showcased the ADDVenture concept, which is based on the
Venture van. The ADDVenture basically comes with entertainment, comfort
and convenience features that the company is showcasing as an active van
for fun and leisure on-the-go. In terms of exterior styling, the Tata
ADDVenture gets matte grey and lime yellow colour theme with redesigned
lights, grille, bumpers, wheels and tail gate that gives the concept a
funky appearance.
Things
get exciting on the interiors of the Tata ADDVenture concept. Apart
from the front driver and passenger seats, the cabin gets four seats
facing each other with a host of gadgets and convenience features. There
is a table in the centre, integrated hot drinks machine, compact
fridge, etc. The upholstery is white and bright yellow that reveals
oodles of luxury. The dashboard up front gets a touch screen tablet in
the centre and the steering wheel is derived from the Zest and Bolt.
It’s
the regular Tata Venture under the skin, so in terms of mechanicals the
ADDVenture gets powered by the same engine. It is a 1.4-litre,
4-cylinder diesel engine that produces a peak power of 70 BHP with a
peak torque of 135 Nm, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Tata
ADDVenture showcases the flexible abilities of a van that can be
transformed drastically from a basic utility vehicle to a luxurious and
