Ducati Monster 795 Finally In Asia

The much awaited Ducati Monster 795 has finally been unveiled today at Kuala Lumpur. The Monster 795 is cheaper than the internationally sold Monster 796 and there have been some modifications done to the bike to achieve these. To start with, the single swingarm of the Monster 796 is replaced by a double sided swingarm in the Monster 795. The seat height has also been reduced from 31.5 inches to 30.3 inches. Many other factors like the tire spec and the alloy wheels have also been changed to finally get the cost advantage. They are supposed to be assembled in Thailand. As India has a free trade agreement with them, so we expect these bikes to come on shore at very affordable prices, rivaling the Hyosung GT650R and the Kawasaki Ninja 650R. The 795 will be sold in countries like Thailand, China, India, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam and Singapore.
